Between the bustling, relentless rhythm of the metropoof lis Seoul, an odd romance for two isolated characters of both age and lifestyles living separate ways. Hye-jin is a 20-year-old medical student who pursues academic life very seriously, barely giving time for any other hobbies. She wants to become a physician; hence her life revolves around books, tests, and fleeting moments of excitement with fellows.
One day, a mysterious man, known only as "Mr. Kim," appears in her life, whose background and identity remain unknown. He is over 40 years old, quiet and reserved, yet there is something about him Hye-jin seems unable to resist, despite her better judgment.
Through the moments they share, a lot of humorous misunderstandings and awkward situations abound. Their interactions are typically marked by light arguments, where Hye-jin teases him about his "prehistoric" ideals about modern dating and technology, to which he plays back sharp comebacks that touch on her naivety. This great banter gradually develops into a relationship that is both growing and unstoppable, bringing auch-needed warmth to their existence in an oddly familiar yet fitting way.
